“I am so grateful to be a part of a dance studio that takes the art of dance so seriously. There is such a wonderful balance of discipline, fun and an extraordinary self confidence in each and every dancer. My daughter has been dancing here at MCPA for 8 years now and we couldn’t have found a better place to dance. I take great pleasure in recommending MCPA to all those who would like to learn to dance, whether through competition or a regular class just for fun.”

“My daughter, Samiyah, has been a member of the MCPA family since the age of 4. I have watched her grow from a shy little girl under the loving and nurturing instruction of Mrs. Lindsay’s KInderdance class to a beautiful mature dancer who, at the age of 11, has been acknowledged at various regional and national competitions and conventions for her technique. I am so proud of her and very thankful for the exceptional level of instruction that she has received over the past 7 years.”

“The carefully selected faculty at MCPA taught me the discipline and technique necessary to enter the professional world of performing arts. MCPA has not only provided me with a well rounded education in dance, but has been a family and support system as well. ”

My daughter has been dancing at MCPA since she was 3 years old - starting in Kinderdance and then joining the pre-professional program, and it is hands-down one of the very best things in her life! The teachers are incredibly dedicated and go above and beyond to support the students; the quality of dance training is something you won't find anywhere else in the Baltimore area; and the entire studio feels like a family. She's learning lessons here that won't just help her in the world of dance, but will benefit her across all areas of life, including respect, discipline, support and teamwork. I can't say enough good things about this studio and feel so grateful that we found it!

Mid-Atlantic Center for Performing Arts (MCPA) is truly a second home. My daughter has been dancing here since she was 2½ years old, and now she is 16 going into her 10th year with the program. Watching her grow within their Professional Program has been incredible. The atmosphere MCPA creates is unmatched—it feels like a real family. The teachers, dancers, and staff are uniquely supportive and dedicated. Just this past season, they walked away from numerous competitions recognized by judges for their high scores, professionalism, diversity, and versatility. Beyond exceptional ballet and dance training, my daughter has built lifelong friendships and learned invaluable skills for both personal relationships and the professional world. As the saying goes, "we may be small, but we are mighty!" I couldn't ask for a better community for her. Highly recommend MCPA!
